The craft behind it
Beadwork is one of the most recognisable crafts in Kenya. In Maasai and Samburu communities, colours and patterns have traditionally carried meaning about age, status and occasion. Our Maasai-style pieces are made by Kenyan beaders who keep those techniques alive while creating jewelry you can wear every day, anywhere in the world.
Perfect for
- A gift that tells a story
- Weddings, graduations and cultural events
- Adding colour to a simple outfit
- Diaspora gifts that feel like home
Care tips
Store beaded pieces flat or hanging so the thread doesn't kink. Keep them away from perfume, chlorine and long soaks. Wipe gently with a dry cloth.
Beadwork & Jewelry: common questions
Is your beadwork made by Maasai artisans?
Our beadwork is handmade by Kenyan makers, including pieces in the Maasai beading tradition. We describe pieces as "Maasai-style" unless we can confirm the maker's community, and each product listing will say who made it and where.
Can I order beaded jewelry in custom colours?
Yes. Custom colours for weddings, matching sets and corporate gifts can be arranged. Message us on WhatsApp with your colours, quantity and date and we'll confirm what's possible.
Do you ship beaded jewelry outside Kenya?
Yes. Jewelry is light and ships well. Courier shipping is calculated at checkout based on your country and parcel weight.
